Topic Summary

The world we live in is constantly evolving. Discoveries are made, scientific and technological advancements are seen; Such occurrences often trigger controversies, nevertheless us humans have to constantly adapt to these changes. But there’s one essential question: where should us humans mark the limit? When is “too much” to the point where one new concept or prototype can evolve into something threatening to the economy, to society, to humankind? 

Goal of committee: Discuss the evolution of technology and science and the impact it could have on the sustainability of our futures; focusing primarily on AI related topics and the regulation of genetic alteration by artificial neural-implantation.
